Top 7 Things To Do In Cape Town

Here's my complication of things to do in this awesome city! Some of the points I wasn't able to do myself, as much as I wanted to do but the they are from reviews of friends that I met in the city!

So here we go, and in no particular order....

  1. Table Mountain- It's the city's main landmark and it's ludicrous not to go to the top! Just make sure to see it from the ground too!
It's a long way from the bottom...

  2. Shark Cage Diving- If you do this then you are all mad!! But it's once in a lifetime, BUT IT'S ALSO A GREAT WHITE SHARK. It's also a bit pricey too if you're on a budget.

  3. Whale Watching- I just missed the whale season but you can get really good tours at great prices from just outside the city in Hermanus, I've also heard the chance of seeing whales is really high too. I'd definitely do this.

  4. Wine Tour- If you're into your wines, I'd definitely recommend this and if you want to learn about different wines then this is the place to learn, after all, it's world famous!

  5. V & A Waterfront- This is a MUST, it's one of the main points of the city, with great shops, eateries and a great ferris wheel to get a different perspective on the place, and best of all, the Waterfront is free!

  6. Peninsular Tour- So many people forget about the gorgeous scenery around the city, it'd be a crime not to see it! It's also a great way to see some of the wildlife around the area- seals, dolphins, penguins, baboons, ostriches, even zebra!
    Boulders Beach

    View of Clifton
  7. Robben Island- Unfortunately when I went it was fully booked but this is best first hand way to get a perspective on apartheid and Nelson Mandelas time on the Island. But just remember that thats only one side of the story! (Not that im endorsing what was done at all, I just a big fan of a balanced arguement.)

I hope this post has given some help for you if you're planning a trip to the Cape, I promise you it will be unforgettable!
